We often write about how to pass an interview and managed to talk about each stage of this exciting event:
Think in advance what in your resume may cause questions from the interlocutor and how to explain it. If you lack any skills or work experience, decide how you will convince the employer. Then not a single most tricky question will take you by surprise.
Strategy 2: The world won't collapse
Imagine in detail what will happen if the interview fails. Let's say the employer directly says: "You are not suitable for us." So what? What will change for you personally and is it worth it to be so afraid of rejection? In any situation there are pluses, and life will not lose its meaning.
Strategy 3: Move
Movement helps you deal with stress. Walk part of the way or take the stairs, or just do some exercise before you go out - this will help to cope with anxiety. There is even a special breathing technique: count to three while inhaling, then hold the air and count to three again, follow the same rhythm as you exhale. On the next breath, count to four, then to five, and finally to six.
Strategy 4: Anchor
It's best to start preparing early. Bring the pads of your thumb and forefinger together and squeeze them tightly. At the same time, remember in all details some very pleasant event: an evening with a loved one, a warm sea, a cup of aromatic coffee. Repeat this exercise several times. The anchor is ready. Now, in any stressful situation, squeeze your fingers - positive emotions are guaranteed.
Strategy 5: Support
During the interview, try to keep both feet on the floor. This creates a sense of support and helps to gain confidence.
Remember: a little excitement is natural and mobilizes a person. As a last resort, say with a smile: "Sorry, I'm a little worried." Sincerity always makes a good impression.
